Porter climbed into Lane's bassinet to take a nap. He likes to read (upside down) before he goes to sleep. (He must get that from me.) What was funny was when he decided to get out--it tipped over.I wanted to write down some of the cute things that Porter and Madison have said recently.
Madison wanted me to get her some juice. I tried to explain to her that I was putting Lane to sleep and I would do it as soon as I was done with him. I emphasized that "Mommy only has two hands." Madison held up her hands and said, "I only have two hands."

When Brant was playing with Porter, he put him on his feet and boosted him up in the air. Porter was laughing at being so high in the air. He had an excited shriek as he said laughing, "I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die." I have no idea where he picked up that phrase.

Porter came running into my room this morning at 5 a.m. saying, "Mom, I woke up! I'm awake!" He had a big smile on his face.

I was changing Porter's diaper and had just fixed my hair. I said, "Porter, do you like Mommy's hair? Is it pretty?" He said, "Yes. Kim cut hair." Then he ran his fingers through his hair and said, "Mommy, my hair. Pretty? Kim cut my hair too."

I have a picture almost identical to this with Easton in Abbie's bassinet with her binky in his mouth. I think that kids are the greates joy and one of the main reasons for life.
I love the cute things kids say...and they do say teh darndest things.
