Just Stuff

I just feel like journaling today. I don't have any one thing to post or blog about. Just a lot of little stuff.
Mom and Dona are still here. It's so nice to have family to visit with. It's like a warm feeling to know your famliy is around. Kind of like snuggling up in a warm blanket on a cold winter night. Then, drinking a mug of hot chocolate. There is something so important and precious as home and family. We probably take it too much for granted.
Madison and Porter have had so much fun with their cousins even though they are alot older. Scott is really patient and good with them. It makes you feel so happy as a Mom when other kids are good to your kids. It hurts when it is the opposite and children are mean to them. It makes me so sad.
My tooth is killing me! Fortunately for me, my Visiting Teaching partner's husband is in dental school at UNLV. I am going to try to get in with him. Our insurance doesn't kick in until January. I know if I wait, I'll have a bigger problem on my hands...er, uh in my mouth. We had our visiting teaching get-to-gether in the park yesterday. It was fun getting out--without kids--and visiting with the women.
I am so sad we are going to have to move in a couple of months. Just when I am starting to get to know everyone. This will be the third place we have lived in since moving back to Las Vegas. We have lived in NINE places since the twins were born. This will be their 10th home. I wish we could just settle. We finally were ready to stay in a place and then the circumstances changed that we couldn't help. The home we are renting is going into foreclosure.
I am thankful for our home, our health, and Brant. Brant has been the pillar of our family. He is working so hard to provide for us. I can't believe he works as much as he does; gets overtime; takes welding classes; does crane testing; and is getting as much driving practice in as he can so that he can get his Class A CDL. (He already has a Class B and has the Class A permit.) On top of all of that, he came yesterday and took all THREE kids and insisted that I take a nap. He also brought me flowers. I know he's so tired and yet he still tries to help me out. I am thankful for him.
